The Scientific Miracles of the Qur'an
Qur'an has many miraculous
attributes proving that it is a
revelation from God.

Scientific truths uncover by the

technology of the 20th century
were stated in the Qur'an 1,400
years ago.

Qur'an is not a book of science.

Scientific facts are expressed in
an extremely concise and
profound manner in it.
 THE COMING OF THE UNIVERSE INTO
EXISTENCE
The origin of the universe is described in the Qur'an
in the following verse

"Do not they not see that the heavens and the Earth
were once one mass, then We rent them apart?"
  (Qur'an 21:30)

Big Bang theory proves
that fact.
The Expansion of the Universe
In Quran Allah says
"And it is We who have constructed the heaven
with might, and verily, it is We who are steadily
expanding it."
(The Qur'an, 51:47)

bang, the universe has been

great speed.
Scientists compare the
expanding universe to the
surface of a balloon that is
inflated.
 Orbits 
In Quran Allah says
"It is He Who created the night and the day, and the
sun and the moon. They swim along, each in an orbit.

720,000 kilometers an

 The Protected Roof
"We made the sky a preserved and protected roof yet
still they turn away from Our Signs.."

 THE EGG SHAPED EARTH

Quran says
 “And we have made the earth egg shaped”.

 “It is He Who has Created man from water:
then has He established relationships of lineage and

78 percent water.

The human male at maturity is about 60 percent

water.

The adult human female is typically 55 percent water.

 THE SENSES

It is He Who has created hearing, sight and minds

for you.

sight, feeling and understanding.
  FINGERPRINTS

In Quran Allah says

 “Does man think that
We cannot assemble his
bones?
Nay, We are able to put
together in perfect order
the very tips of his
fingers.”

(Qur’an
75:3-4)

No two persons in the world can ever have exactly the
same fingerprint pattern

In 1880, fingerprinting became the scientific method

of identification

Every person who is alive or who has ever lived in this

world has a set of unique fingerprints.
 THE CEREBRUM
In Quran Allah says
 No!  If he does not stop, We will take him by the
forelock (front of the head / fringe), a lying, sinful
forelock!
(Quran 96:15)

movements occur in the pre-frontal

 The Relativity of Time
The Qur'an included information about time's being
relative
"They ask you to hasten the punishment. God will not
break His promise. A day with your Lord is equivalent
to a thousand years in the way you count."
(The Qur'an, 22:47)

Time is dependent on
mass and velocity
 The Movement of Mountains
In one verse, we are informed that mountains are not
motionless as they seem, but are in constant motion.

"You will see the mountains you reckoned to be solid

going past like clouds."
(The Qur'an, 27:88)

This motion of the mountains is caused by the
movement of the Earth's crust that they are located
on.
In the 20th century a German scientist Alfred
Wegener proposed that the continents of the earth
had been attached together when it first formed, but
then drifted in different directions, and thus separated
as they moved away from each other.
 PAIN RECEPTORS IN THE SKIN
Allah says in Quran

 “Those who reject our signs,

We shall soon cast into the Fire;
as often as their skins are roasted through,
We shall change them for fresh skins,
that they may taste the Penalty:
for Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.”

It was thought that the sense of feeling and pain was
dependent only on the brain

Recent discoveries prove that there are pain receptors

present in the skin, without which a person would not
be able to feel pain
 BONE LOSS IN OLD AGE
“And said, ‘My Lord, my bones have gone frail and my
head is crowned with white, but in calling on You, My
Lord, I have never been disappointed’.”

(Surah Maryam, 4)

Bone mass begins to gradually decline from around
the age of 40. In its more advanced stages, this disease,
which is mainly seen in the elderly and manifests itself
as a loss of bone tissue mass, leads to easy bone
breakage.
