Why should I apply via Graduate
Nurse Connect?

• It is the only way to apply for a graduate position

in WA Health
• Graduate Nurse Connect enables graduates to
apply for more than one hospital and health
service using just one application.
• This easy and streamlined process provides a
wider choice of employment opportunities.
What happened in 2010?
In 2010 we have employed:
• 507 RN graduates
• 77 EN graduates

Did they get their 1st preference?

• 90% of all ENs offered a position got offered their 1st pref.
• 89% of all RNs offered a position got offered their 1 st pref.

Who didn’t get employed?

• 37 WA registered nurse graduates that applied
• 24 ENs not offered positions that applied
• International students – immigration requires us to employ Australian graduates
first
• ALL other students that forgot to apply
