Main Goals

To help children develop a sense of math To help children develop language and
around them, to notice and use numbers, literacy skills for incorporation into their
daily and school life.
and to use math concepts to explore their
world. ● Oral language skills
● Vocabularies
● use numbers and counting to ● Conversations with other children

● notice shapes, patterns, and ● Proficiency in language

Griffin recognizes the first letter of
his name "G" by saying "G is for James counts on the art table how
Griffin". He identifies at least 2 many colors of paint he uses. On the
letters that are not included in his table are 7 colors that will be chosen
name. by the children to use. James counts
the colors by skipping from 5 to 7
instantly.
Overall Plan/Learning Objectives

Math

The child will be able to correctly

classify a numerical series.
Represented in a dynamic where the
children will be able to search and
identify the numbers written on the
balloon as well as on the card, this
directed as a group or individual
activity.
Students will be able to recognize and
name different shapes they see in their
classroom and environment as well as
classify shapes into categories
according to their attributes.
Language

The child will be able to differentiate

the different letter patterns. This is
done through the use of clothespins
and cards that will help the child(ren)
explore their language and fine motor
skills.
The student will be able to
recognize the characteristics of
the letters, identifying their
names and being able to
pronounce at least 4 letters out
loud, implemented in their play
time as well as in their
implementation activities.
Implementation

During the implementation of the

elaboration of the turtles using letters and geometric figures,
approximately 6 children participated, of which 4 were able to
distinguish and correctly pronounce the names of both.
Julia, Genevieve and Griffin were able to engage in conversations
that allowed them to use mathematical language, using words such
as: Biggest, smallest, as well as similar and non-similar
characteristics, for example:
Julia told Griffin that the circle was like a ball and had no corners
like the square.
