• For verifying the conversion complete
− ‘showcpg –d’ option before and after the conversion and verify the shared version information.
Before the conversion, the version number would be 2 and after conversion its should be 3.

• 3PAR OS 3.3.1 MU5 is the factory default and will remain “active”

• 3PAR OS 3.3.2 is available for customers who need specific features. It will not become a factory default.

• The upgrade path:

• From 3PAR OS 3.3.1 MU5 to 3PAR OS 3.3.2 (online)
• From 3PAR OS 3.3.1 MU3 to 3PAR OS 3.3.2 (online)
• From 3PAR OS 3.3.1 MU2 to 3PAR OS 3.3.2 (online)
• For 7k/10k arrays running any OS version  no upgrade path
• For 8k/9k/20k arrays running older OS version needs to upgrade to 3PAR OS 3.3.1 MU5 first, then upgrade to 3PAR OS 3.3
