SEMINAR IN TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATIONS IN PHYSICAL
EDUCATION

CAMIELLE A. PIZARRO, MAED

PhD in E.M Major in P.E
“ Technology does not seek to
replace Physical Activity, but to
explore more Physical Activity.”
IMPORTANCE OF TECHNOLOGY IN
PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASS
• serve to enhance learning.
• helps students change their sedentary lifestyle into physically
active and fit lifestyle.
• motivates and energize students and allows them to connect PE to
outside world
• provide students with additional information and support to help
them understand the lesson.
• students became more self-aware of the skills they were
performing and what they need to change.
Some technologies I use in my PE class and
how it benefited my learners:
• Laptops/Computers
• video footage, in analyzing videos of sports events and techniques

• ease to show slides and video presentations • Canva

• allows students to upload pictures and video clips of their PA and
express their opinions and views. • Wearable Tech
• Google Workplace
• google classroom

• google forms

• google drive

• Google meet
But, given the opportunities to acquire and use new
technology that I can integrate in my class, I will choose
these 5 technologies:

• Seesaw
• Gaming System
• Kahoot
• Animoto
• Rebel
USING TECHNOLOGY TO COMPENSATE NON-
PHYSICAL DELIVERY OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION
AND PERSONAL CONTACT WITH THE LEARNERS.

• gives students more flexible learning experiences

• allows students to help each other and work together
• can collaborate and ask questions in real time
• allows students to engage in a project-based and inquiry-
based learning
• save money
USING TECHNOLOGY TO COMPENSATE NON-
PHYSICAL DELIVERY OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION
AND PERSONAL CONTACT WITH THE LEARNERS.

• helps improved communication between parents and schools.

• offers plenty of tools to enhance my teaching skills
• find unlimited materials and other learning resources.
THANK
YOU!!!
