Just like a simple pencil, I am not that
special or having the best traits, I am just an
ordinary and simple person with a simple life.
But, I have God that guides me and can make
me do great and bigger things in life, which
makes me sort of special because I have God
in my life.
However, the reality of life is there are
challenges and other circumstances that would
make you suffer a little for a while. But, I
believe, if there are downs in your life, there
would also come a time of experiencing ups. As
one that symbolizes the pencil, there are some
situations I have experienced sufferings,
moments that I would stop and suffer just like
how the pencil stops writing and gets
sharpened. But, if we analyze the situation, it
is just learning to bear the pain and sufferings
in able to make ourselves better and gain
strength to face the world.
In facing challenges in life, we
will be able to learn and
commit mistakes. Same with
the pencil, we are also able to
erase and correct something we
did which is not actually a bad
thing, but it would let us take
the right path in life.
As a person, honestly, I feel down about my
characteristics and attributes. Sometimes I tend
to always focus on my weaknesses, my
vulnerabilities and my appearance which makes me
feel worthless. I always see myself being down
because I always compare myself especially my
physical appearance to others. And, these
emotions are sometimes being left unsaid. But,
one thing I knew, that we should always look on
the inside. Make it as our top priority to
protect our insides, the most important thing
we should consider. It is our best quality, that
even though our physical or outer appearance is
disrupted, there will always be our best feature
which is on the inside.
At the very end of my role as a pencil, which is very important as I
leave a mark or sign, whether it could be bad or good. It is vital for me
to be conscious in making and choosing decisions, to be self-aware of
every single thing I do, because it will always leave trails of actions I
have done in my life. For me, as a person, I would always choose to
leave a mark of good and inspiring memories of my life with every
moment or person I have or have met.
