    A tablet pc program incorporates tablets into curricula to enhance students learning.

    A tablet, or tablet PC, is a portable computer that uses a touchscreen as its primary input device. Most
    tablets are slightly smaller and weigh less than the average laptop. While some tablets include fold out
    keyboards, others, such as the Apple iPad and Motorola Xoom, only offer touchscreen input

    Tablets put a phenomenal amount of learning material in the hands of the student. They provide
    powerful technology in a hand-held device. Studies show that children improve their literacy
    development, science, math, and problem-solving skills when they use tablets.

    Tablets can be used to take individual notes and store information. As well to there being high quality
    educational apps that students can use to supplement learning. Tablets are used in a classroom to do
    research, presentations, taking quizzes, and to work in groups. Lastly a tablet adapts to a students need.
