Value-oriented customers want to lower their ‘Total cost of ownership’,

 Big bearings generally move slowly, but are designed to carry heavy loads
 Little bearings generally carry no load and turn very fast (ie electric motors)
 If you were going to use an oil, what viscosity would you recommend?
Step 2: How hot does it run? What are the ambient temperature conditions?
Step 3: What other conditions?
 Is the application running in/near Water?
 Is the application subject to shock (jolts)– like big bumps in the road every once in a while?
