    Today, the
    Washington Redskins
    have announced that
    they will officially
    retire their world-
    renowned team name
    and mascot. Today we
    should celebrate the
    memories we all have
    as Cowboys fans
    facing off against the
    Redskins. They are a
    fierce rival, but the
    Redskins have
    contributed to many
    moments that made
    us the fans we are
    today. We loved to
    hate them, and they
    loved to hate us — we
    respected eachother
    as rivals. It is the end
    of a great sports era,
    and today we thank
    that Redskin for giving
    us the memories we
    will never forget!
