ACTIVITY APP

INTRO

• The Activity app is an app from Apple that can be used on


your Apple Watch and viewed on the iPhone
• With this app you can track how much you move, exercise and
stand from day to day
THE MOVE RING

• The move ring is basically just how many steps you


take and it is measured in active calories. You fill
the ring up by moving around and elevating your
heart rate.
THE EXERCISE
RING

• On average we should be getting


around 30 minutes of exercise in a
day and that is what this ring helps
to keep you on target. Even just
taking a walk can help fill this ring
u.
THE STAND RING

• The stand ring just counts how many hours of the


day you stand. To close this ring you need to stand
for 12 hours in a day. For example as long as you
stand for like 10 minutes in one hour for 12 hours
you will close this ring. At it is constantly reminding
you to stand if you are just laying down so it is not
hard to close your ring.
I would recommend this app to
others because it is so easy to
use, you don't have to go in and
RECOMMEND log anything.

It motivates me to do things
throughout the day so I can close
my rings.
LOG PROCESS

• For the move and stand ring you don’t have to log anything because it automatically knows how
many steps you take and how long you are standing for.
• For the exercise one it usually can tell what you are doing as well so a pop up will come up
saying something like “It looks like you're on a run would you like to log it” and you just put yes
and it will count how long you exercise for and count calories and when you are done you can
put that you're done or it will ask you if you are done with your workout once it senses that you
are no longer running
HEALTH IMPROVED

• My health has improved because this app motivates me to at


least get 30 minutes of exercise in every day.
• It also motivates me to stand more because if you have been
laying down for a while a pop up will come up and say “time
to stand” so its an indicator that you should maybe get up and
do something
LONG TERM?

• I do plan on using this app long term. I already


have used it for a little over a year and I love it! I
still get excited when I close all my rings in one
day. It also gives you goal achievements
throughout the day so it just really makes you feel
like you're on the right path.
WHAT I ENJOYED

• I enjoy everything about this app. It is


not tedious and so easy to use. It
literally does all the work for you.
WHAT I WOULD • I personally wouldn’t change anything about this app. The
people at apple really knew what they were doing when they
CHANGE created it.
