SIT DOLOR AMET
Abstract

 In our work, the visitor is identified by a standard web camera to capture the image.
If the face recognizes the people, they will be greeted by name and the door will be
unlocked. Doors will not be unlocked if they are not identified.
 For Door Access, the system will perform detection and recognition.
 Home Automation Model utilizing the online site is intended to give simplicity of
control of home apparatuses for individuals, especially the old or those genuinely
unfit to perform everyday exercises effectively.
Introduction
What is IoT?
 The Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of physical objects or "things" embedded
with electronics, software, sensors, and network connectivity, which enables these
objects to collect and exchange data.

 IoT allows objects to be sensed and controlled remotely across existing network
infrastructure, creating opportunities for more direct integration between the physical
world and computer-based systems, and resulting in improved efficiency, accuracy and
economic benefit.

3
Introduction

"Things," in the IoT sense, can refer to a wide variety of devices such as heart
monitoring implants, biochip transponders on farm animals, electric clams in
coastal waters, automobiles with built-in sensors, DNA analysis devices for
environmental/food/pathogen monitoring or field operation devices that assist
fire-fighters in search and rescue operations.

These devices collect useful data with the help of various existing technologies
and then autonomously flow the data between other devices.

4
Introduction

 Definition of Biometrics:

 “Automated methods of recognizing a person based on a

physiological or behavioral characteristics”.

 “ The technology used for identification of a user based on a physical

or behavioral characteristic, such as a fingerprint, iris, face, voice or

handwriting is called Biometrics”.

Introduction
• The target of the home mechanization framework is to make a framework that can control

home machines utilizing any of the two allocated techniques: -

• 1. Motion based

• 2. Electronic. Impaired or old matured individuals who can't walk need an easy method of

getting to things around them which must be served deliberately and proficiently.

• This thought incorporates computerization with innovation.

• Customary home robotization frameworks are not reasonable for maturing populaces or

debilitate people.
Objectives Of The Proposed System
• To overcome situations where normal cabling is difficult or financially impractical.

• It can be used in home applications system where short-distance communication is

required.

• Suitable for physically impaired people to operate the devices within the home.

• To provide comfort and convenience for common users as well, especially in the home
system.
Advantages Of The Proposed System

• Low power requirement

• Simple circuitry as it does not require special hardware

• Devices can be controlled more comfortably

• Helps to overcome situations where normal cabling is difficult as well as financially

impractical

• Can be used in home theatre system where short-distance communication is required

• Suitable for physically impaired people to operate the devices within the room

This project discusses a hand sign recognition system that would be deployed on an android
device. The system is developed and tested successfully with an android device. This system is
useful for a deaf and dumb person carrying an android device connected with webcam to control
appliances. Also, in this proposed system door access system by using face recognition and
along with the Intruder detection system has been presented
