INTRODUCTION TO THE TOPIC

 Human resource play an important role in the development of


organization as the performance of the company depend on
how efficiently we use it in the organization.
 In order to fulfill the requirements, it is essential to recruit
people with expertise skills, knowledge, qualification and
experience for doing that we have to understand the
requirement of company.
 Recruitment and Selection is an important operation in HRM,
designed to maximize employee strength in order to meet the
employer's strategic goals and objectives.
 It is a process of sourcing, screening, shortlisting and selecting
the right candidates for the required vacant positions

 Most of the selected but didn’t join at the time of joining.
 Fill the position within a budget allocated by the company.

 The various constraints which act as a barrier in the hiring
process are the image of the organization, attractiveness
of the job, internal HR Policies, Government influence and
the Recruitment Cost.
FINDING
 Mode of communication plays a crucial role in dispersing the information
and thus reducing the gap between the organization and the world
outside.

 The recruiter is the one who critically drives down this process to
achieve success in hiring the right candidate for the right job at the right
time. 

 It was even found that the more the frequency of applications screened
the more the probability of finding the best candidates form the lot.

 Escorts Ltd. uses internal and external source for
recruitment.
 Internally the organization discloses the position of the job
within the organization with the job description and all the
relevant details.
 In Escorts Ltd. job portals are used are naukri.com and
company portal.
 Another way to find applicants through employee referrals.
 They also take help from employment agencies.
Conclusion
 Through 8 weeks of internship, I have grown tremendously in a
professional way.
 I went extra mile to discover my talents in talent acquisition side
of HR by being responsible for all internship vacancies,
guaranteeing a smooth circulation of interns in the company
and also by taking over a few more tasks to get out of my
comfort zone.
 I took ownership of my tasks and took care of them from start
to finish. I handled different tasks at the same time and turned
stressful situations to memorable ones. I realized my talents to
work more productively under stress.
