PURPOSES

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
- This study utilizes a descriptive qualitative method. This method is using questionnaire distribution.
- The questionnaires quantified by determining the score on each answer based on a Likert scale.
- Questionnaire distribution is conducting by applying a purposive sampling technique on several
respondents predetermined by using Slovin formulation.

With a population (N) of a total citizen of RW 12 Cibodas Village as


much as 8,391 people and significancy rate (α) utilized so that this
research can be generalized with minimum deviation rate is 0.1%, the
number of samples is:

The total sample of the questionnaire based on the calculation is 100


respondents.

According to the results of the recaptulation of the questionnaire, that showed;

1. There is still much to be improved and refined to Eco-village development in RW 12, Cibodas Village,
Bandung. It is evident by the answers of respondents who are dominated by hesitated and disagreed
respondents as much as 80% that the Eco-village program was in line with local wisdom (Sundanese culture).

2. The basic main activity that carried out is to improve the establishment of infrastructure facilities. The main
activity that carried out is to improve the establishment of infrastructure facilities. It can support existing
integrated farming systems because of a well-integrated farming system supported by a good understanding
of the people who use it so that its management carried out optimally and produce better quality products.
This situation can certainly improve the economy of the community and the villages, which utilized to
improve management capacity or to build other businesses related as a means to shape RW 12 as a tourist
destination.
CONCLUSION
1. The expectation of stakeholders related to Eco-village development in RW 12, Cibodas-Bandung, West
Java, in general, is to create improvements and increase infrastructure completeness that can support
local community independence in managing their environment.

2. The result of this research expected to provide input to the design framework for improvements, so the
highest potential as integrated farming systems of Cibodas Village can optimally manage. Also, the
authorities and responsibilities of stakeholders who produce the proposals for available roles and
activities that carried out expected to support the process of eco-village development optimally.

3. The assistance and guidance on the implementation of this development must consistently carry out to
ensure the realization of RW 12 as an Eco-village model.
