Industry analysis
There are three commonly used and important methods of
performing industry analysis. The three methods are:

1. Market Size
2. Broad Factors Analysis (PEST Analysis)
3. SWOT Analysis
1. Market Size

Bajugali Influencer includes the advertising of products

and services that the brands they are working for provides.
Marketing towards the target market of influencers is
comparable to word of mouth marketing.
Its hard to determine but roughly, Bajugali’s contribution
is approximately of 2% of the whole Influencer market
size in India.
Now to increase their market size they are promoting
themselves and their products on YouTube, Instagram,
Snapchat, Pinterest and many more.
2. Broad Factors Analysis
(PEST Analysis)

PESTEL means :
1. Political 4. Technological
2. Economic 5. Environmental
3. Social 6. Legal
Political
The change in government’s policies leads to affect the company in a political
manner. Example : The different policies are made by the government during the
pandemic of Covid-19 affects Bajugali’s working style. As they have to provide
work from home and they have to keep contacting their employees via calls only
to run their company smoothly and to achieve the desired goals.
Economic
As we can see the economy of the Nation is not that much good as compared to
the conditions before lockdown and Covid-19. So it is directly effecting the
income of customer as well. So, Bajugali faced the issue that people are not
willing to spend more money due to the current situations, so they are providing
handsome amount of discounts to its customers so that they can buy the products
easily and the company can achieve their desired goals.
Sociological
Sociological factors are related to the cultural and demographic trends of society. Social norms
and pressures are key to determining consumer behavior. As the world fights the rapid spread of
coronavirus and a massive lockdown, many people are confined to their homes. The effect of
the pandemic is changing consumption and spending patterns of people and may have a long-
lasting impact on Bajugali. It is altering the consumer behaviour on a massive scale. It is
changing the way of thinking and spending on the things.
Technological
All manufacturers together with Bajugali have to reflect that how their internet site is displayed
throughout the huge range of gadgets and display screen dimensions on hand that their clients
ought to be using. The internet site have to be usable throughout all channels and they should be
easy to use.
Legal
Legal factors pertain to any legal forces that define what a business can or cannot do. Political
and legal factors can intersect when governmental bodies introduce legislature and policies that
affect how businesses operate. Therefore, it is very important for Bajugali to make sure that all
the brands they are working for, are properly authorised under government and are working
legally under the policies.
Environment
Bajugali is only working for the brands that are only providing the products that are not
harming the environment at all. Example : Auli – The products under this brand are only natural
and are not containing any type of chemicals, and now a days people only believe in natural and
environment friendly products.
SWOT Analysis
Strength:
Bajugali works for various brands and also helps to sale the product via
its website.
As the presence of general manufacturers working for them, Bajugali
became one of the main influencer advertising company.
Bajugali innovates itself accordingly so that it can supply its buyers the
quality and quantity of the product.
Other than managing their website, they provide a special experience to
their customers.
Weakness:
They are still working in a traditional manner on their operating margins.
Some apps they are working for are earning less or not profit at all, which
affects the profitability of Bajugali itself as well.
Example : They removed DocsApp from the brands as it was not earning
the profit from influencer marketing as well.
Opportunities :
•Apart from growing its very own logistics and distribution
network, the company can open shops in different areas to
develop itself quicker and to get nearby the customers.
•Acquisition of new agencies increases the possibilities of
growth. Bajugali can spread itself into new areas of
enterprise that can provide it a good place in commercial
areas.

Threats :
Legal and regulatory pressures are bothering Bajugali and
can even result in dropping some of the usual brands from
their product line as Bajugali is working for them.
Financial analysis

Profitability ratio
Liquidity ratio
Efficiency ratio
Leverage ratio
Profitability ratios Interpretations :

Gross profit ratio

Gross profit ratio = 100 × Gross profit ÷ Net
sales
A consistent improvement  in gross profit
ratio is the indication of continuous
improvement of organisation and its profit.
So Amazon is continuously improving its
profit in both the years and Walmart is also
improving but its gross profit ratio is less as
compared to Amazon.

Operating profit ratio

Operating profit ratio = 100 × Operating
income ÷ Net sales
A high ratio may indicate better
management of resources i.e. a higher
operational efficiency leading to higher
operating profits in the company.
A low ratio may indicate operational flaws
and improper management of resources, it
is an indicator that the profit generated
from operations are not enough as
compared to the total revenue generated
from sales.
Net profit ratio
Net profit ratio = 100 × Net income ÷ Net sales
Net profit (NP) ratio is a useful tool to measure
the overall profitability of the business. A high
ratio indicates the efficient management of the
affairs of business.  This is calculated to see
whether the business is constantly improving its
profitability or not.

Debt equity ratio

= Total Debt ÷ Total Stockholders Equity
Leverage ratio : = (Short-Term Debt + Long-Term Debt ÷
Total Stockholders Equity
A higher percentage on the other hand shows that
the company depends a lot on its debt (borrowed
funds+ money owed to others) as compared to its
shareholder’s funds, this puts external parties at a
higher risk. A lower percentage shows that the
company is less dependent on borrowed money
from outside parties, or in other words has less
debt as compared to its total shareholder’s funds,
this is a favorable situation for external parties
since they enjoy a higher safety margin.
Efficiency ratio or Short Term Activity Ratios
Inventory turnover ratio
Inventory turnover ratio = Cost of sales ÷
Inventories
A high ratio indicates fast moving
inventories and a low ratio, on the other hand,
indicates slow moving or obsolete inventories
in stock. A low ratio may also be the result of
maintaining excessive inventories needlessly.
Maintaining excessive inventories
unnecessarily indicates poor inventory
management because it involves tiding up
funds that could have been used in other
business operations.
Receivables turnover ratio
Receivables turnover ratio = Net sales ÷
Accounts receivable
Generally, a high ratio indicates that the
receivables are more liquid and are being
collected promptly. A low ratio is a sign of
less liquid receivables and may reduce the
true liquidity of the business in the eyes of the
analyst even if the current and quick ratios are
satisfactory.
Current ratio
Liquidity ratios Current ratio = Current assets ÷ Current
liabilities
A company with high current ratio may not always
be able to pay its current liabilities as they become
due if a large portion of its current assets consists
of slow moving or obsolete inventories. On the
other hand, a company with low current ratio may
be able to pay its current obligations as they
become due if a large portion of its current assets
consists of highly liquid assets i.e., cash, bank
balance, marketable securities and fast moving
inventories.

Quick ratio
Quick ratio = Total quick assets(Current assets
– Inventory) ÷ Current liabilities
Having a higher quick ratio does not mean that
the company has a strong liquidity position
because a company may have high quick ratio but
slow paying debtors. On the other hand, a
company with low quick ratio may have fast
moving inventories.
Project details
Goals and objectives of internship
Work :

The total internship was of 8 weeks. And I was having

the tasks for every week.

I had to apply for the tasks on Bajugali’s site. I had to

apply for the tasks as much as I want to work for. We
had to bring leads to buy the subscriptions of the
brands the company is working for. Also we had to
bring 8 conversions in a week and that was the target
of every week.
Tasks :
 That was the task for 4 weeks and to give overall exposure and training of
the job as an intern. Our task was to look the backend work for rest of 4
weeks.
 In that I had to put a status on whatsapp, facebook and instagram on daily
basis to do the social media marketing of the company and to get people
enrolled in the internship they are providing virtually.
 Also we had to join the facebook groups that were having more than 10k
members and mostly students and the people who were searching for
internships. So, in those groups we had to post their content on daily basis
on 10 groups a day.
 Now when I reached to the last week the company provided the training of
Tele Marketing over voice calls. In that I had been provided the data of 100
people from Kolkata only and I had to make leads by calling the customers
and explaining about the particular brand that is AULI – the cosmetics
brand.
 I had to call the customers and had to explain about the AULI brand and the
products they were providing and then convincing them to purchase the
product.
Methodology
To achieve the objectives of study we have to understand the factors that
calculates the consumer attitude towards online affiliate programs.
There is less research available on the topic and depending upon the
review of limited literature available on this topic some more online
advertising models are modified accordingly and hypothesized for the
research.
 The theoretical support and review of the subsequent hypotheses are
tested during this research.
General Findings and Facts
 84% of publishers and 81% of brands use the power of
affiliate marketing, that will always increase as affiliate
marketing spending increases every year in the US.
 There is a 10.1% hype in affiliate marketing spending in the
US each year, means by 2020.
 In 2018, content marketing charges were 62% of traditional
marketing schemes while generating 3 times the leads of
traditional methods.
 Also, 16% of all orders made online are attributed to the
impact of affiliate marketing.
 In March of 2017, Amazon’s affiliate structure modified,
offering rates of 1-10% of product revenue, providing the
chances for affiliates to increase their income.
Analysis

These values are being assumed so as to get the Hypothesis statements for various
situations :
H1- The consumer’s usefulness of an affiliate link will have a positive impact on
his attitude towards affiliate marketing.
H2- The consumer’s ease to find the affiliate link will also have a positive
impact on his attitude towards affiliate marketing.
H3- The consumer’s knowledge of an affiliate link will have a positive impact
on his attitude towards affiliate marketing.
H4- The consumer’s incentive of affiliate link will also have a positive impact on
his attitude towards affiliate marketing.
 H5- The consumer’s trust on an affiliate link will be having a positive impact
on his attitude towards affiliate marketing.
Key learnings
Professional communication
One of the most important skills that I acquired in this internship is the ability to talk to
the right people in a right manner. I got to know that interviews with administrators
or colleagues are different from conversations with teachers or classmates.
Independence
Usually, we think spoon feeding is a learning process, but working independently has
proven to be very important. My training teach me to take my decisions and do things
myself. Being able to work independently in a small directory is very important in the
working world.
Making connections
Senior staff, clients can provide me guidance, and will help me in future job searchesI
kept them organized and will offer to help them whenever I can. I made an effort
during my learning to build good relationships with people in the office.
You are more important than you think
No matter what the work is, but I have to perform good and work hard at every job that
is given to me.
Recommendation
According to me the company should focus on what customer
actually want. They should only provide and work for the product
that are necessary for the customer.
They should not only focus on increasing their trusted brands but to
keep the customer’s requirement in mind.
For example : Docs App – In India people never want to get treated
digitally at all. They almost get recovered after just visiting the
doctor and the logic behind that is satisfaction of the patient that
they get when doctor diagnose them at his clinic. And marketing
companies work for the satisfaction of their customers. Some
services are not made to be provided online.
So I just want to suggest that keep the brands that you know
customers need according to the situations going on around the
world. As we can’t force customers to buy what they don’t need.
Conclusion
Bajugali is an affiliate marketing company that invites continuous flow
of web traffic.
Being an affiliate marketing company makes them attractive as a
potential partner of the affiliate program, because they already have an
audience online.
To further strengthen their position, they use highly effective online
marketing strategies such as - product marketing, social media
marketing and remote media marketing.
Bajugali is an efficient website as they have a choice of great brands
that they add to their website.
They rely on the opportunity to join a relevant online program where
they can participate in other online marketing strategies.
They find that the internet is a great place to work with other people
with a business mindset all around even in the hard time of Covid - 19.
