 Horizontal - are lines repose and serenity.
 Vertical - are lines poised for action.
 Diagonal - suggests action, life and movement.

 CURVED LINES -suggests grace, subtleness,


direction, instability and flexibility
COLOR
Has the most aesthetic appeal of all the elements
of visual arts.

Color has 3 dimensions or attributes: hue, value,


and intensity.

Hue - is the dimension of color that gives


coor its name.
Value - sometimes called "chiaroscuro", refers to
the lightness or darkness of a color.
Intensity - another dimension of color,refers to its
brightness or darkness.

APPLICATION OF TECHNOLOGY TO
THE PRODUCTION OF ART

Technology have a huge impact in production of


arts. In line with this newly developed type of art
had been brought to life such as:
3D PRINTED ART
3D printing is used by a range of artists with a
variety of unique practices, many of whom use the
available technology in different ways.
INTERACTIVE ART
Interactive art and installation art have been around since the
1950s, but recently digital developments have allowed artists to
create completely immersive experiences, which the viewer
can interact with on a number of levels.
ONLINE ART
With the prevalence of the Internet and our constant
visual consumption online, it makes sense that we’re
starting to see artwork, which only exists on the web.
Much of this work challenges the conventions of the art
world since websites can usually be accessed by all and
are difficult to sell on the traditional art market.
AUGMENTED REALITY
Augmented reality programs use existing cameras and
smart technology to add layers of information and
imagery to a user’s view of the world. Augmented reality
offers a unique crossover between the physical world in
which we live and the digital world in which we spend
much of our time.
VIRTUAL REALITY
an artificial environment that is created with software and
presented to the user in such a way that the user
suspends belief and accepts it as a real environment. On
a computer, virtual reality is primarily experienced
through two of the five senses: sight and sound.

visual weight and almost mirrored. Often looks stiffer and more
formal.
MOVEMENT
Making a still picture create a sense of motion.
RHYTHM
An underlying beat that leads your eye to view the artwork at a
certain pace. Visual tempo set by repeating elements in a work of
art.
PROPORTION
Relationship of parts of a body or form to one another
and of the parts to the whole.
SCALE
Relationship of parts of an image to the image as a whole, or
to something in the world outside of the image
THE ART OF SELFIE AND GROUPIE
SELFIE - A self-portrait digital photograph.
Typically taken with a camera or smartphone.
First done in 1839, it became a common when
handheld cameras and smartphone were
created.
GROUPIE
A person takes a photo of themselves and other
people.
