Welcome Ilustrados!
GOALS:
– To clarify significant details on the instructions for the modular learning modality
approach.
– To explain course expectations and class rules.
– To make amenable guidelines on late submission of activities and others.
Mode of Communication
• You can communicate to me on the following media:

BUT:
1. WE shall only make any communication on Weekdays (Monday – Thursday, except
Friday). Friday is no longer a W-F-H scheme.
2. WE shall only make any communication at 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
3. Proper etiquettes shall be observed.
4. No communication shall be entertained at my end if those measurements above are not
followed.
Learning Modes
• FLEXIBLE LEARNING APPROACH
– Combination of Module and Online
– Handouts, Readings, and other learning materials will be used.
– Receiving of these materials shall be done online.

- more convenient and more preference; but the following shall be noted:
a. Submitting your outputs shall be on the schedule date specified on the
google classroom;
b. Late submission shall still be allowed given only 3 days of extension after
the official submission date.
c. Late submission after 3 days of extension shall still be allowed; however,
25% will be deducted from your overall rating of specific activity and the
excuse must be valid.
Checking of outputs
• The following shall be observed:
– Outputs related to essays and written works with “the same”, “almost the same”,
“moderately the same” and the like shall automatically be rated zero.
– Ideas that are taken from the internet or any sources, shall be cited using APA citation 7 th
Edition, with attached references. If not, the amount of deduction is at my own discretion.

Miscellaneous
• Attendance is no longer required.
• Consultation day will be conducted through google meet every Monday at
1:00-3:00 PM.
– I will be calling a meeting at the google meet where I can assist you on your concerns,
questions and other stuffs that are academic related virtually.
– This virtual consultation is available to anyone that are under my subjects.
– The details for the google meet will be shared ahead of time each group chat in the
messenger.

• Computation of Grades:
– 30% (Quizzes)
– 30% (Summative Assessments)
– 40% (Formative Assessments)

• NO DEFFERED GRADES for this semester


• INC shall only be complied only for one semester, beyond one semester will
automatically be mark as “5” or FAILED.
Miscellaneous
• Why did I get INC or Incomplete Grade?
– You lack outputs that are required to be submitted in the subject/course.
– You have not taken any minor and major exams/assessments

• Why did I get “FAILED” Remark?


– You did not reach the required rating.
– Major: 2.5
– Minor: 3.0
• What will happen when you will get “FAILED” Remark?
– You will be culled in the department or advised to shift.

• Final Assessment – May 21- June 1, 2021
