This piece depicts my 3 life pillars. Lord Ganesha (religion) playing the tabla (music) This piece is a visual representation of Hindustani Classical music, through the use of water colours
demonstrated through a pencil drawing (art). and ink. The colours used plays a role in conveying the radiant attraction felt whilst listening to the
above instruments.

A pencil drawing showing the place I have grown up
in. The original image was taken at sunrise, with the
rays shining against the left side of my house. This
drawing demonstrates my deep understanding of the
contrast between light and shadows.
As we see it

A Rural Landscape which was inspired by a photo I had taken during my Gold Duke of
Edinburgh expedition. This was completed through the use of oil pastels.

An Urban Landscape which I had created myself. In this piece, the light source (Sun) is sourced
at the left hand side. It was done using pencils and it demonstrates my understanding of the
placement of light and shadows when sketching.
Pencil drawing of a minimalist bedroom completed early on during my artistic journey. In this piece, the One of my first pencil drawing of the rear side of a minimalist building. Light source
light source is coming through the right hand side window. This sketch shows my ability of perspective in this piece is at the right hand side. Varying the pencil pressure allowed me to
drawings, giving a wider angled view of a space. accentuate the 3 dimensional structure by showing the light and dark areas.

After having an idea of “Nature’s Mansion”, I drew a rough sketch and added colour – through the
use of oil pastels – to enhance its visualisation.

Using the drawing, I had used the software Minecraft to build


this piece into life with a further 3-dimensional structure.

After having the idea of modelling an auditorium, I drew a rough layout of Then I drew a side-view drawing, showing the angling of each level, position of the doors as well as
how the different parts of the auditorium should be positioned. support beams in order to hold up the upper level.

I then drew the floor plans, showing in great detail
the arrangement of the differrent parts, required as
a backbone to make this model.

Final Model

Final model of Auditorium erected using the initial and floor plans. Model is made
from foam board, using standard cutting, measuring and adhesive utensils.
