Introduction
1. Definition:
Regional anatomy is the science which deals with the
formations, positions and relationships of the structures of
the human body in a given region.

It is based on the systematic anatomy.

It is the essential foundation for the other pre-clinical and clinical

The basic structures in human body in layers
 1 Skin (an epithelial layer of ectodermal origin)
 2 Superficial fascia or subcutaneous tissue or
subcutaneous fat.
Some superficial arteries, veins and cutaneous nerves
and lymphatic vessels are distributed in this layer.
 3 Deep fascia (proper fascia), it will be discussed
in detail.
 4 Muscles.
 5 The innermost layer: in the limbs are bones and joints.
while in the thorax, abdomen and pelvis are the
visceral organs.
