• Geo-Textile membrane of 150 GSM as a separation layer between PCC and water
proofing membrane.
• PCC of minimum 50mm thick shall be laid in panels 2.5m x 2.5m with 24 G wire
netting.
• PCC angular fillet/coving of 75mm x 75mm size shall be provided at junction of
horizontal and vertical surfaces.
• Joints of panel shall be raked out neatly 10mm x 10mm ‘V’ groove and filled with
polyurethane Water proofing.
APPLICATION / INSTALLATION
• On vertical surfaces
• Foam Insulation is not required. Primer application followed by water proofing coating shall be
done.
• Sand shall be sprinkled when coating is tacky.
• 12mm cement plaster (1 cement : 4 Sand with polypropylene fibers @ 125 gms per bag of
cement or as recommended by mfg.)
• In Concrete Gutters
• In horizontal surface of gutters shall comprise of primer, water proofing coating, Geotextile,
PCC.
TESTING & WARRANTY
• Stage 1 : After Polyurethane water proof coating – water ponding test shall be carried
out for 72 hours in panels 2 m x 2 m.
• Stage 2 : After PCC layer curing is complete, water ponding test shall be carried out for
a minimum of 72 hours. Roof water drainage shall also be checked during this stage.
• Any leaks shall be rectified and tested.
• Warranty of minimum 10 years shall be provided for leak proof or any other damage.
• Any leakage, damage, defect within warranty period shall be rectified by the contractor.
