Program Overview
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
1. Provide an in-depth orientation on reading and literacy as
foundational tool to help learners acquire competencies
required in the content areas;
2. Enhance pedagogical competencies to strengthen the
reading and literacy instruction;
3. Engage in reflection to continuously improve literacy
practices towards a culture of reading success for all
learners.
