STRATEGIC ANALYSIS
PLAYING CHESS

• Strategy:
To win at chess, you need to be constantly thinking a
few moves in advance.
Setting up longer, more complicated attacks to defeat
your opponent.
Your first move is about setting up the rest of
the game, leading to your first attack or controlling
certain sections of the board.
Strategy

• A strategy is a long term plan on what to do

to achieve a certain goal. When talking about
the near future, people often use the word
tactics. Military theorist Carl von Clausewitz
said "tactics is the art of using troops in
battle; strategy is the art of using battles to
win the war".
