WHAT COMES IN YOUR MIND???

EATING
EATING
-Also known as “consuming,” is the ingestion
of food typically to provide a heterotrophic
organism an energy and to allow for growth.

-All creatures more specificall humans, need

to eat in order to survive.

-It is an activity of daily living.

WHY DO YOU EAT?
•Do you eat because you know that food provides
nutrition to your body that serves as your fuel?

• Do
you eat because food just simply taste good in your
mouth?

•Do you eat because you are not conscious of it?

•Do you eat because you feel a great sense of emotion and
feel out of CTRL?
4 TYPES OF
EATING
1.) Social Eating
Eating which means people
gathering together to accompanied
each other while socially eating. Or
also known as “Eating with friends.”

You eat together with other people

because you enjoy in his or her
company.
Do you eat
more when
you’re feeling
stressed?
If YES, then you’re an emotional eater!
Emotional Eating
When people use
food as a way to deal
with feelings instead
of satisfying hunger.
It comes on suddenly- it hits you
an instant and feel overwhelming.
It craves on specific comfort food.
Often leads to mindless eating.
It’s not satisfied once you’re full.
It’s not located in the stomach.
Often leads to regret and shame.
Do you engage in
sports or any
physical act.?
“Just as a car runs
best with a full tank
of gas, your body
needs the right kind
of fuel from food.”
3.)Eating For Fueling
Performance
Athletes who perform endurance or
intermittent high-intensity exercise for
more than an hour are at risk for
glycogen depletion, hypoglycemia, and
fatigue during exercise. That’s why, the
goal of recovery nutrition is to replace
fluid, electrolytes and glycogen that
were lost during activity.
Are you fond of eating
popcorns and etc. while
watching The Legend Of
the Blue Sea???
4.) Eating While Watching TV...
On average, children spend two hours
in front of the TV every day. During
this time, they spend the time eating
breakfast, lunch or just snacking. Thus,
they tend to eat more potato chips,
cookies, sweets, soft drinks and
junkfoods... This definitely leads to
obesity and other disesases like high
cholesterol or even diabetes.
According to the author of one
of the studies, Lean Birch, at Penn
State, the problem itself doesn’t
come from watching tv, but rather
from when children eats without
paing attention to the amount, the
taste, etc.
A friendly reminder:

Instead of eating junkfood,

it is better to eat fruits and
other nutritious food while
watching your favorite TV
show.   
Conclusion:
Those four aforesaid types of eating
(Social Eating, Emotional Eating,
Eating for Fueling Performance and
Eating While Watching TV) vary from
one another in the sense that they have
different functions. Nonetheless, all of
these types
