INTRODUCTION
Vietnam Airlines is a dynamic, modern international airline imbued with
Vietnamese traditional cultural identity, during more than 20 years of
development with double-digit growth, Vietnam Airlines has and is
leading the aviation market in Vietnam - one of the fastest growing
domestic markets in the world. A modern airline with a brand that is
widely known for its distinct cultural identity.

To work in the airport area, employees must be trained and fully equipped with
professional aviation knowledge and be certified by aviation authorities.

=>Vietnam Airlines Caterers Co., Ltd's training center was established and
developed (2015) to train its staff.

Vietnam Airlines Caterers has training programs, teaching materials, teacher


plans, organizational systems, management teams as well as internal teachers.

After being trained at Vietnam Airlines Caterers, students will be given relevant
certificates to start work. Vietnam Airlines also has a training school for pilots and
flight attendants, which is Vietnam Airlines Flight Training Center.

The training was conducted with the International Pilot Training Group.
 VNA wants to create professional courses for VNA's employees. For example, in 2018,
VNA organized safety and security training for 12,827 trainees, organized work towards
socialization for 130 pilots and 587 flight attendants. In addition, VNA also trains
management human resources with Basic English classes, passenger enhancement
courses, and ENAC's MSc courses in Vietnam with a large number of trainees.
Moreover, in the first 9 months of 2019, VNA updated new textbooks and trained
11,291 students, 5 masters in the UK, and 5 NLZ English training classes.
 In 2018, Vietnam Airlines opened the
aircraft simulation cockpit complex with
three modern aircraft lines A320/321,
B787, A350 at Learning Resource Training
Centre ( Trung Tam Hoc Lieu). Due to the
lack of high skills and qualifications of
personnel in Vietnam, Resource Training
Centre organized self-training with
manufacturer's materials to overcome this
difficulty.
In 2019, the Learning Resource Center organized a training course,
fostering management knowledge for 20 experts and engineers who are
potential young cadres in the future, directly taught by the Secretary of
the Party Committee - the Director.

The training content includes team management, human resource


management, strategy building, corporate culture... is an opportunity
for trainees to research, exchange and learn from each other in order to
improve their skills, high professional qualifications.

Vietnam Airlines also provided Safety – Security training courses for
more than 11,000 pilots, flight attendants, flight operators, and
ground service staff as required by IOSA standard and the applicable
regulations on aviation; 05 English courses were held in New
Zealand for 91 outstanding officials and specialists; and 05 Masters
of Science (MSc) received training at Cranfield University - UK and
ENAC.

Every year, Vietnam Airlines will organize internal training
programs on safety and safety culture for its members. Thousands of
members have had access to the latest aviation safety regulations and
guidelines.

In addition, Computer-aided engineering also supports Vietnam


Airlines in training staff, teachers, technical and technology experts
-> the operation better.

Vietnam Airlines provides premises to install equipment and


facilities, human resources for SIM operations; undertaking the
number of hours to use the equipment according to the needs of each
aircraft type; arrange technical staff to operate and maintain the
equipment.
Thanks to Resource Training Centre organized
self-training with manufacturer's materials In a
short time, SIM engineers have approached and
mastered the operation, repair and maintenance of
SIM and modern training equipment. 
Through training and fostering activities,
employees have more knowledge, skills
and attitudes necessary to be able to carry
out their work effectively.
