Rev. 5:1-14
 Memory Verse
Rv 5:1 “And I saw in the right hand of him
that sat on the throne a book written
within and on the backside, sealed with
seven seals.”
 What is the seven sealed
book?
Ephesians 1:13-14
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard
the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation:
in whom also after that ye believed, ye were
sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until
the redemption of the purchased
possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Romans 8:22-23
22 For we know that the whole creation
groaneth and travaileth in pain together
until now.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also,
which have the firstfruits of the Spirit,
even we ourselves groan within
ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to
wit, the redemption of our body.
 The text shows that there is a
possession that is to be redeemed.
What is this that lost to mankind?

Ans. It is the inheritance of the earth and

of immortal life given to Adam and Eve.
This was lost in the fall of Eden.
 Adam is impotent to redeem
the lost possession.
In the law kinsman may redeem the lost
possession.
Leviticus 25:23-24
The land shall not be sold for ever: for the
land is mine; for ye are strangers and
sojourners with me.24 And in all the
land of your possession ye shall grant a
redemption for the land.
 Jesus Christ redeemed
1 Pet 1:18-20
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not
redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and
gold, from your vain conversation received by
tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of
a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the
foundation of the world, but was manifest in
these last times for you,
 The seven (7) seals
The first seal (A White Horse)
Revelation 6:1-2 And I saw when the Lamb
opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it
were the noise of thunder, one of the four
beasts saying, Come and see. 2 And I saw,
and behold a white horse: and he that sat on
him had a bow; and a crown was given unto
him: and he went forth conquering, and to
conquer.
 Who is on the white horse?
Not Jesus Christ but the antichrist

Daniel 11:21
And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to
whom they shall not give the honour of the
kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and
obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
The world will believe because God send upon its
inhabitants strong delusion that they will believe
a lie.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-11
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of
Satan with all power and signs and lying
wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness
in them that perish; because they received not
the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong
delusion, that they should believe a lie:
 The second seal
Revelation 6:3-4
3 And when he had opened the second seal, I
heard the second beast say, Come and see.
4 And there went out another horse that was
red: and power was given to him that sat
thereon to take peace from the earth, and
that they should kill one another: and there
was given unto him a great sword.
 RED SYMBOL OF BLOOD
SWORD SYMBOL OF WAR
-This would have the power to take peace from
the earth and cause to kill one another.
Matthew 24:6-7
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of
wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these
things must come to pass, but the end is not
yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and
kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be
famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes,
in divers places.
This is the fulfillment of prophecy
1 Thessalonians 5:3
For when they shall say, Peace and
safety; then sudden destruction cometh
upon them, as travail upon a woman
with child; and they shall not escape.
 The 3rd seal
Revelation 6:5-6
And when he had opened the third seal, I heard
the third beast say, Come and see. And I
beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat
on him had a pair of balances in his hand. 6
And I heard a voice in the midst of the four
beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny,
and three measures of barley for a penny;
and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
 Black horse

The black horse signifies famine and the

Rider the conserver of food.
 The 4th seal
Revelation 6:7-8
7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I
heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come
and see.8 And I looked, and behold a pale
horse: and his name that sat on him was
Death, and Hell followed with him. And power
was given unto them over the fourth part of
the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger,
and with death, and with the beasts of the
earth.
 Pale Horse
• Pale horse is called death
• Hades follows after death
• The means of destruction mentioned`;
sword, hunger, death, and the beasts of the
earth Ez.14:21
• Ezekiel 14:21
For thus saith the Lord God; How much more
when I send my four sore judgments upon
Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and
the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut
off from it man and beast?
Isaiah 5:13-16
13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity,
because they have no knowledge: and their
honourable men are famished, and their
multitude dried up with thirst.
14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and
opened her mouth without measure: and their
glory, and their multitude, and their pomp,
and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
15 And the mean man shall be brought down,
and the mighty man shall be humbled, and
the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:
16 But the Lord of hosts shall be exalted in
judgment, and God that is holy shall be
sanctified in righteousness.
