A communication and information website restricted to college and the students enrolled there,
College Communication Site provides a platform via which students can share information between
them. No matter where students are located – in what country or part of the world, with this
application college students can get connected for meaningful educational purposed
.
In order to use the university digital communication and information website, students must be
college students and they must create an account. Account creation for other users is restricted.
Students can send friend requests to each other, and after that they can send messages, find old
friends, share materials and stay connected

  This website also provides the features of writing and posting a post or any event all at one place.
The main idea behind it is to share the job related details posted by placement officer via adding a
post which can be read by all the student as well as faculty using the website. This web application
can be handled by the admin and manage student as well as faculty. 
Web application intends to provide a well-established web-based communication system
between university-colleges-students. This documents a communication and information system
scope, functionalities, requirements and feasibility. This project aims to develop a website which
provides Communication among students on network, which works quite similar to Social Media Site.

 In the Existing system, Website is Completely static and HTML based websites.

 The static web site only display college information's like College history, Courses
offered, Contact Details, Faculties and Management Details. Only.

 Whenever we implement new System it is Developed to remove the shortcomings of

an existing system.
 The Computerized has more Edge over the Manual System.
 As we are doing a Project on “UNIVERSITY DIGITAL COMMUNICATION AND
INFORMATION WEBSITE”.
 So Firstly we will Introduce the Existing System, the Existing system is based on manual
system, which takes lot of time to get performance of the test.

 Students can register and login into the system once their registration is approved by the admin.

 Once the student logged in into the system, he/she can write and post an articles on various topic
of his/her choice. Also he/she chat with the other students.

 Students can also upload images with their post.

 All students can view News Feed posted by individual student.

 All the student registration will be approved/rejected by the admin as well as, all the post will be
kept pending until admin approves/rejects each and every post.

 Admin Login has full authority on system, he/she can add/delete Faculty. 

 Officer can add post and it will be sent for approval to admin.

 Staff can view student profiles and also can post event who’s details will be sent via SMS to
students.

The students can contact the communicate and giving information of this
platform in case of any problem. These problems include all the information
and related to this platform or in case of any difficulty found by the students.
They are also able to report other accounts in case of any inappropriate
action performed by such accounts. This platform will help the students to
connect with their friends and can share meaningful information.

Several groups can also be formed on certain topics to get updates

related to it. These groups play a major role in highlighting the issues caused
by an individual or a group of colleges. This makes this university digital
communication and information website platform an amazing one for the
students as they can get connected and can share important information.
