WHAT IS SEO..?
Whenever you enter a query in a search engine and hit 'enter' you get
a list of web results that contain that query term. Users normally tend
to visit websites that are at the top of this list as they perceive those to
be more relevant to the query. If you have ever wondered why some

it is because of a powerful web marketing technique called Search
Engine Optimization (SEO).

WHAT IS SMO..?
Social media optimization (SMO) is the use of social media
networks to manage and grow an organization’s message and
online presence. As a digital marketing strategy, social media
optimization can be used to increase awareness of new products
and services, connect with customers, and ameliorate potential
damaging news.

 Social media marketing (SMM) is a form of Internet marketing that utilizes
social networking websites as a marketing tool. The goal of SMM is to
produce content that users will share with their social network to help a
company increase brand exposure and broaden customer reach.
PPC(PAY PER CLICK)
Pay-per-click (PPC) is an online advertising model in which an advertiser
pays a publisher every time an advertisement link is “clicked” on.
Alternatively, PPC is known as the cost-per-click (CPC) model. The pay-
per-click model is offered primarily by search engines (e.g., Google) and
social networks (e.g., Facebook). Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Twitter
Ads are the most popular platforms for PPC advertising.

Content marketing is the creation and distribution of digital
marketing collateral with the goal of increasing brand awareness,
improving search engine rankings and generating audience interest.
Businesses use content marketing to nurture leads and enable sales by
using site analytics, keyword research and targeted strategy
recommendations.

Content writing is the process of planning, writing and editing web content,
typically for digital marketing purposes. It can include writing blog posts
and articles, scripts for videos and podcasts, as well as content for specific
platforms, such as tweetstorms on Twitter or text posts on Reddit

Email marketing is the use of email to promote products or services
while developing relationships with potential customers or clients. It
is essentially direct mail done electronically instead of through the

for marketing another person’s or company’s products. The affiliate simply
searches for a product they enjoy, then promotes that product and earns a
piece of the profit from each sale they make. The sales are tracked via

Digital branding is a brand management technique that uses a
combination of internet branding and digital marketing, online
marketing to develop a brand over a range of digital venues, including
internet-based relationships, device-based applications or media
content. It has emerged strongly over the last decade along with its
roots from direct marketing.

CONCLUSION
 The study started with the aim to analyse the different issues related to the digital
marketing. Based on the discussion it has been found that in case of the digital
marketing the most important aspect is to connect with the users. The ladder of
engagement has shown the approaches to attach with the customers. The study
has also revealed that in order to utilise the digital marketing in an effective way,
the companies are required to design an effective platform. With the example of
Pinterest the effectiveness of a social media platform has been discussed. The
current trends in the digital marketing have also been discussed in the study
