Introduction of PowerPoint:

PowerPoint  is a powerful, easy-to-use presentation


graphics software program which allows you to
create professional-looking electronic slide
shows. It is used to present information in an
organized manner to an individual or group. Title bar

These elements include:
• Quick Access toolbar
• Title bar
• Ribbon
• Status bar
QUICK ACCESS TOOLBAR:

Quick access toolbar


The Quick Access Toolbar is a
customizable toolbar that contains a
set of commands that are independent
of the tab on the ribbon that is
currently displayed.
You can move the Quick Access
Toolbar from one of the two possible
locations, and you can add buttons
that represent commands to the Quick
Access Toolbar
TITLE BAR:

• The Title bar is located at the top in the center of the PowerPoint window. The Title


bar displays the name of the presentation on which you are currently working.

RIBBON:

Ribbon is located on the top of


the PowerPoint window just below the
Title bar. It is made up of eight tabs:
• Home
• Insert
• Design
• Transitions
• Animations
• Slide Show
• Review
• View

Each tab is divided into groups of


related commands that are displayed
on the Ribbon.
STATUS BAR:

Status bar is located at the bottom of


the PowerPoint window.
It shows messages and information
about the view, such as the slide
number and the current theme
template used.
WHAT IS TRANSITION AND HOW TO ADD ON
DESIRED PAGE?
A slide transition is the visual effect that
occurs when you move from one slide to
the next during a presentation.
You can control the speed, add sound,
and customize the look
of transition effects.

MEHTHOD:
• In the navigation pane, click the slide
that you want to apply a transition to.
• On the Transitions tab,
under Transition to This Slide, click
the transition that you want to apply.
• In the After field, enter the amount of
time you want to display the slide
HOW TO ADD ANIMATION AND INCREASE ITS
TIME IN POWERPOINT?

1. Press Ctrl and select the objects


you want.
2. Select Format > Group > Group to
group the objects together.
3. Select Animations and choose
an animation.
4. After adding animation, you can
also increase or decrease the
time of animation present in
Timing Group in Animation.
HOW TO CHANGE THE BACKGROUND OF A
SLIDE?

• Click on design tab.


• Choose BACKGROUND FORMAT at
the right side.
• Choose the color you want in the
background.
