• The TAG Heuer company has its roots in 1860 when
Edouard Heuer founded a watchmaking company in St-
Imier, Switzerland
• In 1869 Edouard Heuer patented one of the first crown-
winding mechanism for pocket watches
• In 1889 TAG Heuer receives a silver medal for its collection
of pocket chronographs during the Paris World Fair. The
