Personal letters are the letters that are
written to people we know such as
friends, parents, siblings, cousins, or
someone we want to get to know.

to inform but to strengthen the
bond between two people or
more.

Place where you are writing
When the letter is written from. All that is needed your
street address, city, pro-
vince/state and post code.

Greeting and the person’s usually starts with “how are
name you are writing to you?” or refers to previous
letter.

The main part of the letter. It
includes what you want
to write to the other person.

The part indicates the
letter is going to end.
