Methodology

Sampling of stage type, stratified, with delimitation of the area of interest by two parameters: number of employees (the minimum allowed value was 20
employees at the level of 2017) and the activity field: mainly companies appreciated as being part of the area of high value added companies.
According to the requests of April 6, 2019, the companies with high added value were the following (NACE, 2 digits): culture/creative industries: 90, medical
services: 86; private education: 85; HR services: 78; outsourcing/BPO services: 82; legal and accounting services: 69; management and consulting services: 70;
architectural and engineering services: 71; R&D services: 72; advertising services: 73; other professional services (photos, translations): 74; veterinary services:
75; real estate transactions: 68; banking services: 64; insurance services: 65; financial services (stock exchanges, brokerage): 66; publishing services: 58; media

06. For the presentation of results, this category of companies will be highlighted.

The data collection was carried out in May, by mixed means: face-to-face, by telephone or online, the degree of difficulty of the survey being a high one, with an
average rate of return of 4.8 and a rejection rate of 83%. A total of 500 complete questionnaires were completed, which corresponds to a statistical error margin
of +/- 4%, for a 95% confidence interval. In accordance to the requests, the questionnaires were completed at the company management level.
All the requested fields were covered. Several "response letters" mentioning various problems or solutions were received during the data collection. As they did
not fully cover the issues proposed in the questionnaire, the answers were not processed in the quantitative report, but they will be used in the qualitative
research.
