 Introduction
Due to the advent of technology, people's lifestyles are changing on a daily
basis. . As a result, people do not have a lot of time to go shopping, which is
important in everyday life. That is why people choose to shop in malls or
huge stores. When people enter the mall, they each take a product and
position it in a trolley. After completing their shopping, they must wait in
line for billing. During the billing process, a salesperson checks each and
every product's barcode before delivering the final bill. This treatment takes
a long time. To avoid this problem, I built the smart trolley . We use a
barcode scanner techniques in the smart trolley. It saves consumers
time by stopping them from having to wait in long billing lines. This
clever trolley often saves time and effort. This system is dependable
and simple to run.
 Objectives
 To design and produce a versatile trolley that is user friendly
for human and makes their life more productive.
To satisfy the customer.
 To reduce the time spent on the billing process in the trolley
rather than waiting in a queue even for one or two products.
 To Reduce the crowd at the Billing counter.
 Description of trolley
The following are the components of the Smart Trolley
design:

Object Sensor: Helps in the identification of nearby objects in order to prevent collisions.
Shopping Display device with Touch Screen: Assist you with your shopping.
Monitoring device: Connect with the store's surveillance system to deter theft. A beeping
smooth sound will also warn you if an object has not been scanned.
Hand Break: This function helps you to stop the trolley by applying the brakes.
Product scanner: This scanner is used to scan items.
Wheel: Helps in rolling and moving the trolley.
Provide electrical energy to Smart Trolley through a portable device power supply.
This product has the advantage of making shopping much simpler, more versatile, and
time-saving.
 SWOT Analysis
Strength- The strength of this trolley is that it is having many features which is
very convenient to use. The features of trolley includes a barcode scanner, a
sensor, and device display etc. No special training is required to use this trolley.
Weakness- There is no such weaknesses of this idea but might be it is possible
sometimes there could be a difficulty in bar code scanner and in card
acceptance.
Opportunities- Opportunity of this innovative idea is that it helps growth in
retail industry. It helps to attract the customers as this trolley is self billing
system so customer do not have to wait in line for billing even for one or two
products.
Threats- It might be happen that some company can steal my theme. I have
taken authority from government so if any company will steal my theme I can
easily claim for further process.
Relevance with Respect to 4C’s
 Cost- The Digital Trolley which are designed are not so much costly.
As due to Covid-19 it is necessary to reduce the crowd in supermarkets,
Hypermarkets, Shopping stores etc. so Retail industry like Big Bazaar,
Reliance, Pantaloons, V-Mart etc. would prefer to buy this trolley so
that there will be less gathering in the supermarkets and malls.

 Customer- As the trolley is having self- billing system and it is easy to

use, customer would prefer to use this trolley because the main
difficulty customers are facing now- a- days to follow queue through
the billing process which would be removed by digital trolley machine.
 Company- Company would prefer to buy this product and services, as it
reduces the huge gathering around the billing counter and customer will
also attract towards the company because now- a- days customers does not
want to follow queue through the billing process as they want to reduce
time spent on the billing process.

 Competitor- A Company’s Competitors are companies who are having

to sell similar goods or services to the same people. There is no direct
competition of this innovative idea.
 Conclusion
This project has, redefined the buying process. This trolley
gives precision, speed, and durability. Our idea has put an end
to the trend of customers relying on shopkeepers for product
details. Billing is absolutely avoided, saving the consumer
time and simplifying the operation for the shopkeeper. Since
payment is done in the trolley, customers do not have to wait
in line. It saves the shopkeeper a third of his total expenditure
in the billing department. As a result, the model allows for a
better shopping experience by improved technology that can
be used by anyone who can read and write. There is no
special training is required to use this product and services.
