Definitions
BLOOD
Blood is a body fluid in humans and other animals
that delivers necessary substances such as
nutrients , oxygen to the cells and transports
metabolic waste products away from those same
cells.The most abundant cells in vertebrate blood
are red blood cells.

c. Platelets (PLTs)
The CBC can evaluate your overall health and detec
t a variety of diseases and conditions such as infecti
ons, anemia and leukemia.
