INTRODUCTION

For the detection and prevention of disease of plants from getting spread, this
paper discussed a system using raspberry PI. For the image analysis, the k-means clustering
algorithm was used. It has many advantages for the use in big farms of crops and thus it
automatically detects signs of disease whenever they appear on leaves of the plant. In
pharmaceutical research of leaf disease detection is necessary and important topic for
research because it has advantages in monitoring crops infield at the form and thus it
automatically detect symptoms of disease by image processing by k-means clustering
algorithm. The term disease means the type of damage To the plants. This paper provides the
best method for detection of plant diseases using image processing and alerting about the
disease caused by sending email, SMS and displaying the name of the disease on the monitor
display of the owner of the system.

Our ultimate aim is to create the robot that has to be used for the agricultural purpose, we
co-ordinate the team and analysed for various robotic project, then we find out the disease detecting robot
for plants, thus it considered the both mechanical and electrical electronic based, Thus the below items are
majorly required for the building of the robot:

 IBT-2 H-BRIDGE
 RASPERRY PI AND RASPERRY PI CAMERA
 CHASSIS KIT AND OTHER COMPONENTS
Thus the above components are analyzed by Arduino IDE,XOD,PYTHON and
Tensorflow software.
Thus the above robot has the advantage as it is designed lightly so that it can’t spoil the
other crops while driving through the farm.

ARDUINO UNO

The Arduino Uno is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328. It has


20 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs and 6 can be
used as analog inputs), a 16 MHz resonator, a USB connection, a power jack, an in-
circuit system programming (ICSP) header, and a reset button. It contains everything
needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB
cable or power it with a AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started.
The Uno differs from all preceding boards in that it does not use the FTDI
USB-to-serial driver chip. Instead, it features an ATmega16U2 programmed as a
USB-to-serial converter. This auxiliary microcontroller has its own USB bootloader,
which allows advanced users to reprogram it.
RASPBERRY PI

The Raspberry Pi is a low cost, credit-card sized computer that plugs into


a computer monitor or TV, and uses a standard keyboard and mouse. It is a capable
little device that enables people of all ages to explore computing, and to learn how to
program in languages like Scratch and Python. 
As for the specifications, the Raspberry Pi is a credit card-sized computer powered
by the Broadcom BCM2835 system-on-a-chip (SoC). This SoC includes a 32-bit
ARM1176JZFS processor, clocked at 700MHz, and a Videocore IV GPU. It also has
256MB of RAM in a POP package above the SoC.
