 Introduction
 Science is the name of observations ,thinking and finding
reasons of everything all around us
• Science is a purely a collection of human
findings,writtings, and experimentations
• The history of science is as old as the first human beings on
Earth.

• The knowledge gained through observations and
experimentations is known as science.

1. Compound microscope
Uses two lenses to make things look larger
• Thermometer
• Use to measure temperature in degree Celsius or
Fahrenheit.
• Stopwatch. A stopwatch is used to measure time in
hours, minutes, and seconds.
• 1 hours = 60 minutes , 1 minute= 60 seconds
• Uses of science
• today science has become an important subject. Besides,
events like cooking, boiling of water, burning of candle, ,
electricity, , cell phones etc. generally make us realise the
presence of science in everyday life.
