FILM COMPETITION
Introduction & The Purpose of this Task

• This Pesentation briefly describes the start-up activities and the approach
Expressions Ltd. will take in carrying out the consultancy services to design,
develop and implement a Short Film Title campaign named “Manushey
Manushey Bibhed Bhuli, Shammer Shomaj Gori”

• This presentation encapsulates objectives, target group, scope of works, start-up


activities, work plan and discusses the methodologies and approaches and the
key personnel involved in the campaign activities.
Background

• In Bangladesh, sexual and gender-based violence are at an all-time high,


especially even more so during the COVID 19 pandemic. Child marriage and
domestic violence are still widespread. 59% of girls in Bangladesh are married
before their 18th birthday and 22% are married before the age of 15.

• According to a recent survey by Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF), a local


human rights organization, at least 4,249 women and 456 children were
subjected to domestic violence in 27 out of 64 districts of Bangladesh in April
2020, with 1,672 women and 424 children facing violence for the first time in
their lives.

• The aim of this particular project is to create safe spaces, platforms and
opportunities for young people to strengthen their knowledge and
understanding of SRHR.

Objective of the Assignment

• Do a formative research from Expressions team

• Post 30 posts in social media during the entire campaign


Objective of the Assignment
• Create a 1 minutes Animation AV

• Collection of the films in a particular email ID

• Screening of the films for the Judges and team BLAST

• Hosting an Event for the crowning of the winners

• Monitor, evaluate and report of campaign activities

Week 7: Hosting the Entire Event
This is the time when we will be hosting the final gala event, it will be held in
places such as Sufia Kamal National Public Library Auditorium. We will be hosting
the event there which will be decorated with banners and festoon along with the
giant screen set up in the stage, there the award winning films will be shown
along with the directors sharing their journey for the entire film making. The
scene setter will be locked later on but it would be a half-day session comprising
of 100- 200 guests maximum and due to Covid19 pandemic these people will be
asked to sit with one seat left out of the other. Our task will be to let the guest
know about
our motive, see our films , hear from them, guest will be invited in accordance
with BLAST and other stakeholder, if any. We will disclose the winners on that day
and handover the winning cheque and certificate to them. It will be a half day
event and snacks will be provided upon close consultation with BLAST team.
Monitoring & Evaluation
Evaluation brings together monitoring data and findings from additional research
to assess the effectiveness. Expressions will conduct monitoring and evaluation at
various levels ranging from media placement, audience reached for the
campaign.
Campaign Output
• Duration of campaign will be 56 days (1 month and 26 days , 7 weeks only).

• Among them material development part will be 12 days ( it is a simultaneous


process)

• Campaign execution will be of 44 days in across the social media and other
networks.

• We will try to have a FB page Engagement/Reach of 10,00,000 overall

• Clicks on any content at least 1000

• Online ads and youtube bumper ads if used to be reached around 500,000.
