ANNOTATION
Individual Monitoring Plan (ILMP) is a tool used to monitor those
learners who lag behind. In the first ILMP that I crafted for my learner, I
gave him more examples of the topic so that he can improve in
constructing sentences. Likewise, in mathematics I gave him lecture notes
so that his reading and writing numbers will improve. While on the second
ILMP, I asked the help of the parent to guide the learner in answering the
independent assessment, Online Mobile Pabasa passages were also given
weekly to improve the learner’s reading skills, providing a remedial
activity was also given to help understand more the lesson. Also, extension
of submission was given to the activity sheet which was not answered
completely.
You will notice the adjustments that I made in creating interventions
strategies to cater the learner’s need, from providing more examples and
giving lecture notes to giving OMP passages, asking the assistance of the
parent, and extending the time of submission to the activity sheet which is
not answered completely. These intervention strategies helped the learner
to improve his learning needs. And this ILMP helped me in monitoring
their progress.

ANNOTATION
The learning competency and learning objectives of the two lesson
plans are both aligned to the MELCs. Adjustment were made in discussing
the lesson by providing a localized story so that the learner can easily
relate to the lesson. I also used differentiated group activities in both lesson
plans to cater the differences and uniqueness of the learners. The only
difference of the two lesson plans is the mode of assessment or the
assessment strategies. In the first lesson plan, I used a simple paper and
pencil assessment test while on the second lesson plan, I used an online
assessment using a kahoot app to make the assessment more exciting and
enjoyable to the learners.

ANNOTATION
The learning resources that I created are easier understand. I used
examples in which they can relate easily, and I used pictures for the
learners to easily comprehend the questions. I also crafted a powerpoint
presentation that I used during online kumustahan. It is composed of
reading exercises to check their improvement in reading and mathematical
exercises to check their improvement in mathematics.

ANNOTATION

In this ever-changing world of education, it is our responsibility as a

teacher to enhance our skills and effectiveness especially in our present
situation as we are facing a global pandemic. For us to continuously grow
professionally we must attend webinars, seminars, trainings, and the like to
keep us updated with the trends in education especially in this time of
pandemic.
During the first quarter of the school, we were tasked to create our
own developmental plan based on the results of our Self-Assessment Tool
(SAT) and one of my developmental needs was to build relationship with
parents/ guardians or the PPST Indicator 6.2.2. So, to address this
developmental need, I attended the Division Online Orientation on the
Roles and Responsibilities of Parents and Learning Facilitators in the
Implementation of Distance Learning Delivery Modalities. In this webinar
I learned the importance of having a prompt communication with the
parents/guardians to involve them in the educative process of the learners.
And I applied these learnings in my teaching as I conduct frequent
consultation with the parents/guardians.
The second developmental needs that I need to improve is the result
focus and the second webinar that I attended which was facilitated by the
DepEd Edtech Unit helped me to deliver error-free outputs and to produce
a satisfactory work in the use of ICT.

Reflective Summary
7. 4 – Professional reflection and learning to improve practice

Before the opening of school year 2020-2021, we undergo the LDM

2 course which focused on the instructional implications of using
alternative learning delivery modalities. The course gave me an overview
on what am I going to do as the new scheme of learning will take place.
Because this school year is far different from the others because of the
present situation that we are facing. The LDM 2 helped me to become
ready, equipped, and confident in executing lessons in the new normal. In
addition, the LDM2 experience gave me knowledge on how am I going to
adapt with the new normal in teaching.
This collection of work reflects my accomplishments in this school
year, from creating my first ILMP to attending in-service training. It
highlights some of my works along with my personal experiences as I face
the new normal in teaching. I had a lot of new experiences in this new
normal and I believe I grow professionally. The situation helped me to
build relationship with stakeholders as they are our partners to conquer this
situation. Also, the new normal helped me realize the value of planning
ahead and organizing things accordingly. I may have experienced a lot of
difficulties as I faced this new normal but through the learnings that I
learned in LDM2 course it helped me to conquer these difficulties.
To sum it up my LDM experience was great and helpful to my
professional growth. It helped me to come out of my comfort zone as I
accomplish my task as a teacher in this new normal. It is quite hard at first
to adjust but in the end, everything is satisfying.
