5.1 - Design, selection, organization and utilization of assessment strategies
ANNOTATION
Individual Monitoring Plan (ILMP) is a tool used to monitor those
learners who lag behind. In the first ILMP that I crafted for my learner, I
gave him more examples of the topic so that he can improve in
constructing sentences. Likewise, in mathematics I gave him lecture notes
so that his reading and writing numbers will improve. While on the second
ILMP, I asked the help of the parent to guide the learner in answering the
independent assessment, Online Mobile Pabasa passages were also given
weekly to improve the learner’s reading skills, providing a remedial
activity was also given to help understand more the lesson. Also, extension
of submission was given to the activity sheet which was not answered
completely.
You will notice the adjustments that I made in creating interventions
strategies to cater the learner’s need, from providing more examples and
giving lecture notes to giving OMP passages, asking the assistance of the
parent, and extending the time of submission to the activity sheet which is
not answered completely. These intervention strategies helped the learner
to improve his learning needs. And this ILMP helped me in monitoring
their progress.

ANNOTATION
The learning competency and learning objectives of the two lesson
plans are both aligned to the MELCs. Adjustment were made in discussing
the lesson by providing a localized story so that the learner can easily
relate to the lesson. I also used differentiated group activities in both lesson
plans to cater the differences and uniqueness of the learners. The only
difference of the two lesson plans is the mode of assessment or the
assessment strategies. In the first lesson plan, I used a simple paper and
pencil assessment test while on the second lesson plan, I used an online
assessment using a kahoot app to make the assessment more exciting and
enjoyable to the learners.

ANNOTATION
The learning resources that I created are easier understand. I used
examples in which they can relate easily, and I used pictures for the
learners to easily comprehend the questions. I also crafted a powerpoint
presentation that I used during online kumustahan. It is composed of
reading exercises to check their improvement in reading and mathematical
exercises to check their improvement in mathematics.
