• Best Western began in the years following World War II. At the
time, most hotels were either large urban properties, or smaller
family owned roadside hotels.
• In California, a network of independent hotel operators began
making referrals of each other to travelers.
• This small and informal network eventually grew into the modern
Best Western hotel chain founded by M.K. Guertin in 1946.
• The name "Best Western" was a result of most of their
propertiesh originally being located in the Western part of the
United States west of the Mississippi River.

Brazen promotes 24 hour Best Western social
media giveaway
 Best Western is using Twitter and Facebook to give away weekend
breaks every half hour for 24 hours.
 Brazen will be promoting the campaign through travel and
competition enthusiasts online, in order to increase the independent
hotel chain’s follower/friend numbers as the promotion goes on.
 We will have a lot of exciting news for guests in 2010 and want to
attract thousands of friends and followers through this giveaway to
ensure we have the perfect platform for two way communication in
the months to come.”
 When the campaign starts next week, Twitter and Facebook users
will be set a question every 30 minutes about a specific hotel and
they’ll then have just 15 minutes to respond. All the correct answers
will then be entered into a prize draw for a break at that hotel.

CONCLUSION

It was really a very great experience to study about “best western


hotels”. After going into all its aspects i.e. its customer careing , policies, pricing
strategies, mentainings etc. we can conclude that the hotel’s is excellent on all the
fronts. indicates that the best western hotels is also loyal towards the society, and
all such social responsibilities are very necessary to build a strong customer base.
Through its comprehensive range of qualities it touches the lives of
all customers, in all age groups, across all social boundaries and all over the
world.
