KNOWLEDGE ABOUT ASTRA
Brahmastra -In ancient Indian mythology, the Brahmastra (Sanskrit: ब्रह्‍मास्‍त्र, IAST: Brahmāstra) and its
variants, the Brahmashirsha astra and the Brahmanda astra were supernatural weapons used in the war of
Mahabharata and are collectively called Brahma weapons. ... The strike of the Brahmastra will eventually destroy
everything.
Pashupatastra -The Pashupatastra (IAST: Pāśupatāstra, sanskrit: पाशुपतास्त्र; the weapon of
Pasupati, an epithet of Shiva) is an irresistible and most destructive personal weapon of Shiva, Kali
and Adi Para Shakti, which can be discharged by the mind, the eyes, words, or a bow.
Narayanastra -The Narayanastra (Sanskrit: नारायणास्त्र, romanized: nārāyaṇastra) (or Narainastra) was the
personal weapon of Lord Vishnu in his Narayana form. This astra ("weapon" in Sanskrit) fired a volley of
millions of deadly missiles simultaneously, the intensity of which rises in proportion to the resistance of the
target.[1] The only way to defend against the narayanastra was therefore to show total submission before the
missiles hit, which would cause them to stop and spare the target.

Ashwathama uses
Narayanastra
Indrastra- Indrastra was the mythical weapon of Indian deity Indra which was invoked by the main character
Arjuna many times in the Mahabharata war. When the divine weapon was shot it transformed into many
arrows capable of killing many men.
Vasavi Shakti -The second weapon of Indra, inferior to Vajra. It could be used only once and upon
usage, it killed the opponent.Karna used it on Ghatotkacha and killed him.
Praswapastra -This weapon would cause the afflicted to fall asleep on the battlefield. Bhishma
was stopped by the Akashvani from using this weapon against his Guru, Lord Parashurama. In
Ramayana and Mahabharat, only Bhishma had this weapon.
Agneyastra -The weapon discharged would emit flames inextinguishable through normal means.
Arjuna used it against Angaraparna, the Gandharva.
Varunastra -The Varunastra (Sanskrit वरुणास्त्र) is the water weapon (a storm) according to the
Indian scriptures, incepted by Varuna, god of hydrosphere. In stories, it is said to assume
any weapon's shape, just like water. Upon usage, it brings large volume of water which washes
away large part of infantry.
