• Singular:
• Watakushi/watashi----I
• Anata---You
• Kare/ ano hito/ ano kata---he
• Kanojo/ano hito/ano kata---she
• Kore/sore/are-----this person/that person
• Plural:
• watakushi tachi/ware ware-----we
• Anata tachi/anata gata----you
• Korera/sorera/arera----these/those
• Examples:
• 1.watakushi wa daisuki desu.-----I like it very much
• 2.Ano hito wa dare desu ka?-----Who is that man
or woman?
• 3.Ano hito wa komatte imasu.----The man is
hard up.
• 4.Anata wa nemui desu.---you are sleepy.
5. Watakushi wa gakkoo ni ikimasen
deshita.-----I did not go to school.
6.Sore o shitte imasu.----I know that.
7.Kore wa dare no niwatori desu ka?----Whose
chickens are those?
• 8.Watakushi wa anata o ai shite imasu…. I love
you
• 9.kore to sore----this and that
• Kore mo yoroshii desu.-----This is also good.
• 10.Ware ware wa niwa ni imasu.---- We are in
the yard..
• 11.Sore wa anata no hon de wa
arimasen…..That is not your book.
• 12.Ano hito wa anata no tomodachi desu ka?----Is
the man your friend?
• 13.Lie ano hito wa tomadachi de wa arimasen……
The man is not my friend.
• 14.Anata wa ringo o tabemasu ka?-----Do you eat
apples?
• Hai.ringo o tabemasu.----Yes, I eat apples.
• 15. Anata wa doko ni imasu ka?---Where are you?
• 16.Kore wa kin no tokei desu ka?----Is this a
gold watch?
• Hai, sore wa kin no tokei desu.---Yes, that is a
gold watch.
• 17.Watakushi wa kuruma ga arimasu.-----I
have a car.
• 18.Anata wa saji ga arimasu ka? Do you have a
spoons?
