FEAR NOT!

FEAR
PSALM 27:1
Psalm 27:1
The Lord is my light and my
salvation; whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my
life; of whom shall I be afraid?
 The message of
Psalm 27:1 is “Fear
not!”
 I would like you to walk away
from this message saying:
I WILL NOT FEAR BECAUSE JESUS IS
MY LIGHT.
I WILL NOT FEAR BECAUSE JESUS IS
MY SALVATION.
I WILL NOT FEAR BECAUSE JESUS IS
MY STRENGTH.
We have lots of
FEARS.
FEARS
 We have lots of FEARS
» We fear the future.
» We fear poor health.
» We fear getting old.
» We fear what people think.
The loss of a beloved
relative or friend can
increase our fears.
 We have lots of FEARS
» What’s going to happen to me
now that she’s gone?
» Who’s going to take his place?
» Whom will I go to?
 Jesus says,
“Turn to me!”
 Jesus says, “Turn to me!”
Matthew 11:28
Come unto me, all ye that labor
and are heavy laden, and I will
give you rest.
 Jesus says, “Turn to me!”
Psalm 27:1
The Lord is my light and my
salvation; whom shall I fear? the

 I WILL NOT FEAR
BECAUSE JESUS IS
MY LIGHT.
 I WILL NOT FEAR BECAUSE
JESUS IS MY LIGHT.
Jesus says in John 8:12
…I am the light of the world: he
that followeth me shall not walk
in darkness, but shall have the
light of life.
 I WILL NOT FEAR
BECAUSE JESUS IS
MY SALVATION.
 I WILL NOT FEAR BECAUSE
JESUS IS MY SALVATION.

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come
short of the glory of God;
 I WILL NOT FEAR BECAUSE
JESUS IS MY SALVATION.

…the soul that sinneth, it
shall die.
 I WILL NOT FEAR BECAUSE
JESUS IS MY SALVATION.

 I WILL NOT FEAR BECAUSE
JESUS IS MY SALVATION.

2 Corinthians 5:21
For he hath made him to be sin for us,
who knew no sin; that we might be
made the righteousness of God in him.
I WILL NOT FEAR
BECAUSE JESUS IS
MY STRENGTH.
 I WILL NOT FEAR BECAUSE
JESUS IS MY STRENGTH.
When Jesus is your savior, He will be
the strength of my life. We will be
able to say with the Apostle Paul in
Philippians 4:13, I can do all things
through Christ which strengthen me.
 I WILL NOT FEAR BECAUSE
JESUS IS MY STRENGTH.
Jesus will give you the strength to face
death.
Jesus will give you the strength to face
your future.
Jesus will give you the strength to face
whatever you need to face in this life.
 I WILL NOT FEAR BECAUSE
JESUS IS MY STRENGTH.
