traditional Kibbutzim.
A kibbutz is a collective community in Israel that was
traditionally based on agriculture.
The first kibbutz, established in 1909, was Degania. Today,
farming has been partly supplanted by other economic
branches, including industrial plants and high-tech
enterprises.
A 1 hour walk through the green lanes, old and new
dwellings, the children houses, the laundry, talking about this
unique way of life, community, education, decision making,
economic issues and more.
The kibbutz tour will end and the group will continue to the
winery for a tasting/ shopping
