¿WHAT IS THE MEANING OF NGO IN PERÚ?

• A non-governmental organization (NGO) is a not-for-profit organization that is


independent from states and international governmental organizations. They are
usually funded by donations but some avoid formal funding altogether and are run
primarily by volunteers. NGOs are highly diverse groups of organizations engaged in
a wide range of activities, and take different forms in different parts of the world.
Some may have charitable status, while others may be registered for tax exemption
based on recognition of social purposes. Others may be fronts for political, religious,
or other interests.
• One of the popular ngo in Perú is INABIF, they are responsible for
looking teenagers boy, also for proteccion and development to childs
who are at risk of abandonment, they help improve their conditions.

• Its objetives are to establish a network of social proteccion especially of


domestic violence.
• Other important ngo in Perú is “Action for children” it is a hostel with
already 120 childs, many come also to eat, dress, receive education
and support . It was created in 1998 with the support of “Save the
Children Suecia”.

One of the many ngo is Christ Home it is a private institute in Arequipa
that helps working children with non profit, it has medical, psychological
and social assistance. The most thing for children are donation, It is a
part of global movement that originated in chile.

Its objetive are make actions that benefit children working in our city and
spend more time studying, develop programs of protection and
prevention of children, provide health care,
etc.
• The ngo have important role in shaping public, since its function can
bring distint information about topics that is often without citizenship
warns or know
• All want to change most life styles but the people poor is the most
conformed with things that have.
