AUTOMATIC WATER DISPENSER

(USING ARDUINO)
 Abstract

 About 71% of earth is covered with water but sadly only 2.5% of is
drinking water . We are wasting too much of water in our day to
day life . if your tap dripped a drop of water once every second it
would take only about 5 hours for you waste one gallon of water ,
that is enough for an average human to survive for two days.
 If we replace all the manual taps with the smart one that opens
and closes on its own automatically not , not only we can save but
also have a healthier lifestyle since we don’t have to operate the
taps with our dirty hands.

 There are many existing solutions are there ,
like water filling system , etc .

 Solenoid valve
 Proposed solution
we will use a ultrasonic sensor to check if any
object such that glass is placed before the
dispenser . We have to write a arduino program
which always check if any object is placed near
the tap , if yes , then the solenoid will turn off
automatically thus closing the supply of water.
