DEFINITION OF SUPERSTITION
 A superstition is a belief that a particular thing, event or
circumstance holds some kind of significance that
something going to happen (bad or good) even though
it’s not based on knowledge or reason. This belief can be
based on fear, ignorance, trust in magic, coincidence, or
a prior experience with a similar situation.
2. It is bad luck if a black
cat crosses your path.
3. It’s good luck if
you find one with
four leaves.
 6. It’s good
luck to hang a
horseshoe
above your
door.
7. It’s bad luck
to walk under a
ladder.
9. It’s bad luck if you
say “Bloody Mary” 3
times in a mirror
BUT….if you’re NOT
superstitious…..……
 10. A rabbit’s foot is
considered to be lucky.
11. It is good luck to
throw salt over your
right shoulder.
 12. It’s bad
luck to open an
umbrella
inside.
13. Make a wish when
you see this in the
sky.
14. If you Knock on Wood,
you won’t have bad luck.
15. Make a wish when
your eyelash falls out.
16. This is the luckiest
number.
17. This is the most
unlucky number.
18. Every time a bell rings,
and angel gets it’s wings.
18. If you sneeze, say, “God
Bless You,” or your soul will
be lost for eternity.
20. If your ears are burning,
someone is talking about
you.
21. It’s good luck to cross
your index and middle
finger.
 22. If a girl is getting
married you have to have
something: old, new,
borrowed, and blue.
23. If your right palm itches then
you’ll lose money or something of
value, left palm itches, you’ll gain
money…both palms itch? I’d go
see a doctor. 
