TITLE : THE LEGEND OF MAYON VOLCANO

INTRODUCTION :
Mayon Volcano is a beautiful volcano. Its beauty attracts many foreign and local tourists because of its
nearly perfect cone. Legend has it that the volcano spring out of a beautiful maiden or “Daragang Magayon”
as the Bicolanos fondly call her because of her exceptional beauty

Daragang Magayon is so beautiful that all men admired her in Rawis Kingdom and other neighboring
kingdoms, including Ulap - a young man from Laguna Kingdom. They fell in love and engaged to be married.

SUPPORTING POINT 2
Because of jealousy, anger, and frustration, Patugo and his men from Iraya Kingdom attacked the Kingdom
of Rawis, captured King Makusog and asked her daughter, Daragang Magayon, as a ransom.

Ulap and his clan from Laguna helped fight Patugo’s men until Patugo was killed in the battle. Ulap and
Daragang Magayon embraced each other joyfully in celebration when a deadly arrow flew and claimed their
lives.

CONCLUSION
The whole kingdom grieved. Soon from the grieved where the bodies of Daragang Magayon and Ulap were
Buried together surfaced a beautiful volcano which the people claimed is Daragang Magayon. Today,it has
evolve to what we now know as Mayon Volcano.

Jess: What? Did I do something? I'm not a bad influence- Or am I? Dan-
Dan: No! that's not the reason Jess, they think you're after money. They think you're only being friends with me
because of my family's wealth.

Dan: I know that. You've been such a great friend and I don't want their negative assumptions of you divide us like this.
