Why I like this poem..
The poem gives a clear picture about the complexities of
the human character. The poet William Wordsworth has
beautifully described the various contrasts of human
behavior. When he talks about the contrasts of the
human face, he is referring to both the faces we make in
certain moods and the face of our personalities. He
describes the ups and the downs, the full and the empty.
Of all the natural occurrences he has seen and been
moved by, he now focuses on humans. The poet greatly
appreciates the uniqueness of humankind and gives the
readers as well, the opportunity to appreciate and be
thankful for being a part of such a dynamic species.
