Materials Required
• Twigs
• Charcoal powder
• Clay
Process
• take a handful of clay and make it wet
• Divide it into two parts
• In one part add charcoal powder so it appears black
• Make small round balls out of it. These balls are black
• Make smaller balls out of another part of mud
• To make model of methane :take one black mud ball insert in it four
pieces of twig. In each twig insert a ball from smaller balls of mud. Let
it dry and this is the model of methane. In the same way, models of
other hydrocarbon can be made.
