Origin and History
Leonardo da Vinci, in the year 1514
Chinese culture is considered to be
the precursor to the creation of the
parachute. Leonardo da Vinci
designed a parachute in Milan around
the year 1480-1483, he projected a
model of parachute that had a cone
shape whose tip was turned upwards,
as he had already carried out several
studies on the flight of birds.
In 1779, Sebastián le Normand, a
French physicist, studied parachutes,
performing animal launches and is
considered the first systematic
parachute builder

What is skydiving?

It is a technique or recreational activity
that includes a parachute jump that can
be done from an airplane, a helicopter
or from a hot air balloon, in which
during free fall the parachute must be
activated to land safely.

causing a collision with the ground.
