INTRODUCTION

What is ART ?
• Art education refers to learning, instruction
and programming based upon the visual and
tangibal arts.
• Art education involves performing arts like
dance, music, theatre, and visual arts like
drawing, painting, sculpture, and design
works.
ARTS EDUCATION EXPERIENCES
• Help students
-Feel good among themselves as individuals
-Develop abilities to observe respond senstively
-Develop skill, creativity and imagination
-Develop understanding of the arts
-Become appreciative of music, art. And dance from
their own and other cultures, times and places

Art as a school subject is of great value. It
develops in the students
the aesthetic sense. It enables them to develop
socially emotionally, physically,
intellectual, psychologically and morally. We can
say that without art every school subject
will become dull and bore. So it is very important
to include art as a school subject in
school curriculum
