INTERNET OF THINGS
A scenario in which objects, animals or people
are provided with unique identifiers
and the ability to transfer data
over a network without
human-to-human or human-to-
computer interaction.
INTRODUCTION
 In today’s world enemy warfare is an important factor in
any nation’s security.

 In our project we have come up with an idea of tracking

the soldier as well as to give the health status of the
soldier during the war, which enables the army personnel
to plan the war strategies.
LITERATURE SURVEY
 Manual Health Systems
 Network oriented operation

 No jackets which can monitor health

 Normal jackets
SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE
REQURIEMENTS
Hardware requirements
 Node MCU
 Pulse rate sensor
 Temperature sensor

Software requirements
 Embedded C
 Arduino Suite
EXISTING SYSTEM
 Manual Health Monitoring
 No Emergency Intimation
 Base Station Communication With Shorter
Range.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
 Works both in Network and non network areas
 Health monitoring jackets

 Automatic health system

 Soldier to soldier Communication

SYSTEM DESIGN

POWER SUPPLY
NODE MCU
The Node MCU EPS Wi-Fi 8266 module provides
minimum of 512Kb flash memory.

It is low cost user friendly plug and play module

with easy to configure and set up.

 Every module has unique IP address which is

special identification of every Soldier.

Every soldier is connected with control room with

the help of EPS8266 module IP address.
TEMPERATURE SENSOR
 LM35 is a precision IC temperature sensor with its output
proportional to the temperature.

 The sensor circuitry is sealed and not subject to

oxidation.

 Possesses a low self-heating capability.

 The output voltage is converted to temperature by a

simple conversion factor.
HEART RATE SENSOR
This sensor is designed to measure heart beat when
finger is placed on it.

It works on the principle of light modulation by blood

flow through finger at each pulse.

Whenever heartbeat of soldier will deviate from the

threshold value, the system will transmit information
to control room.
POWER SUPPLY
DC voltages are required to operate various
electronic equipment.

These voltages are 5V, 9V or 12V which cannot be

obtained directly.

Thus the input to the circuit is applied from the

regulated power supply.
IMPLEMENTATION
 Biomedical sensors are used to monitor
health status of soldier.

 Wifi Module is used to intimate to Base

Station.
ADVANTAGES
 No need to go on field.
 Higher relibilty.

 Cost effective.

 Fast and efficient

 There are a number of ways in which the soldier

can communicate with the base station.

CONCLUSION
 We can dial an emergency call if the soldier health
parameters crosses threshold value or soldier co-ordinates
goes out of a certain / pre-decided track.
